When the sea just won't let us stay at Lido Conchiglie (too many waves, too much wind), we load the kayaks onto the roof rack of our car, and see you at...La Strea!!!

Paddling in a lagoon is a captivating experience: the shallow, sandy seabed creates a comfortable feeling as we enter the water, and the Mediterranean scrub around us embraces and envelops us as we traverse the silent, still waters. After a short stretch of open sea, we come to a small bridge, the perfect size for our kayaks: before us lies Rabbit Island, wild and unspoiled, accessible only by sea... a truly magical atmosphere! Perfect for any time of day.

Things to bring: hat with visor, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimsuit, short-sleeved T-shirt to wear under the life jacket (we provide the latter), warmer T-shirt (for those who are particularly sensitive to the cold and depending on the season), rock shoes (or flip-flops), water bottle, complete change of clothes and shoes, beach towel.

Only for those who suffer from seasickness: a tablet and/or specific bracelets.

Equipment provided: kayak, paddle, life jacket, shared dry bag for storing small personal items.

AT SUNRISE: breakfast included, consisting of coffee (for children: fruit juice) and pasticciotto (possibly, for children: empty croissant, to be indicated at the time of booking).

AT SUNSET: an aperitif including beer (soft drink or fruit juice for children, to be specified when booking) and taralli.

NB: In case of allergies or food intolerances, alternatives cannot be guaranteed.

The outing includes an initial briefing with basic instructions for the correct use of the paddle and the posture to maintain in the kayak while navigating.

Route description:

A unique opportunity, designed just for those days when sea conditions at Lido Conchiglie prevent us from venturing out. Instead of stopping, we open the door to something different: a silent, wild lagoon, off the beaten track. By kayak, with a maximum of three people per trip, we explore still, crystal-clear waters among islets covered in Mediterranean scrub, native fauna, and an authentic harbor overlooked by sixteenth-century towers. There's even a small bridge under which to paddle our kayaks, before we glimpse Rabbit Island: wild, untouched, accessible only by sea, it offers us a haven in a place seemingly untouched by time. It's not an everyday occurrence, but when it happens... it's pure magic.

Possibility to do the excursion at any time of the day:

At sunrise - it will be magical and relaxing to stop on the island's beach and admire the scenery at this time of day, in complete silence, without swimmers or umbrellas! Here, we'll take our time enjoying a pasticciotto and coffee, brought directly aboard the kayak!

Daytime - During your stop on the island, you can take a dip, enjoy a refreshing swim, and even go snorkeling to discover life underwater: we'll provide masks, advice, and experience!

At sunset - to accompany our contemplation of nature in the last hours of daylight, an aperitif... one of those simple ones, but one you certainly don't have every day!
